No more excuses. If you want it bad enough, you’ll do it. So many people say they want to lose weight or get fit, but they don’t put in the work.

theangrytherapist:

Today’s WOD

As many rounds as possible in 20 minutes.

5 Chest to bar pull ups

5 Ring dips

15 Squats

Got 21 rounds plus 10 reps.

Rest 30 mins.

For time.

3 rounds of

50 Double unders

40 Sit ups

30 Pull ups

20 Push ups

400 m run

Got 18:24.

I’m not saying this is what you should do.  This is just want I did today and it’s not a typical day for me.  Today I decided to do a double Wod to see what it feels like to push through when I don’t feel like it, to stretch that comfort zone.  Yes, I was tired after the first workout with blisters on my hands but I stayed with it, fought my quitting voice, and realized that it’s all mental.  If you want it bad enough, you will do it.

Everyone that wants to be more fit, that wants to lose weight, that sees other people and wish they had bodies like that, what if I told you that I will give you $5,000 a month for six months if you spend 40 mins a day doing body weight movements in your apartment / park, like sit ups, push ups, dips using a chair, jump rope, running, would you do it?  Would you find that 40 mins in your day no matter how busy you are?  Of course you would.  That’s 30 grand!  You will do whatever it takes.

So then, let me ask you this.  What is it worth to you to feel better about yourself?  To look at your body in the mirror and for the first time in your life truly like what you see, to know that you have power over your body.  Not the other way around.  What is that worth to you?  To stop feeling fat and less than, to stop telling yourself that you are this way and that that’s.  10, 20, 30 grand?  I will guess you can’t put a price on that feeling but if you did, it would be worth a lot more than 30 grand.  I’m not saying you can get your idea body in 6 months.  Or maybe you can.  But what I’m saying is that’s enough time to break patterns and see results.  Obviously, you have to eat well too.  My point is it’s tangible and once you see results, there will be no stopping you.

It’s not about the weight.  It’s about crushing your false beliefs and taking the power back by proving to yourself that you have the ability to change / transform.  And knowing you have this ability is what’s gold.  You are no longer a victim.  I don’t care how busy or poor you are, it doesn’t take money, that much time, or a CrossFit box.

All it takes is will.
